Description

123\TUNE USB and 123\TUNE+ Bluetooth ignition distributors are not delivered from the factory with vehicle-specific, but with general ignition curves. They are made to physically fit the engine.

You can ask us to research and program an ignition curve for the 123\TUNE USB and 123\TUNE+ Bluetooth for your vehicle. To do this, place product no. 9907 into the shopping basket. You can find this product ('Programming distributor') at the bottom of this page under 'Accessories and spare parts'.
This ignition distributor has a vacuum connection, which does not have to be used necessarily.

Our ignition distributors require ignition coils with at least 1 ohm resistance in the primary circuit.
We recommend not to use ignition cables with a copper core. The electronics in the ignition distributor may be interfered with the electromagnetic fields induced by these cables.

This 123 TUNE twin spark distributor is built specially for the Toyota engine 4A-GE, found in the Corolla, Celica, Carina and early MR2s. As with other 123 TUNE distributors you can adjust the advance curve individually to complement the engine and your driving habits.

Furthermore this 123 TUNE features some specialties which nearly leave nothing to be desired. Both advance curves are independently adjustable. It is possible to have both ignition circuits ignite with a certain offset while the engine is revving low and let them converge with increasing engine speed, just to name an example. A soft rev-limiter is also possible with one of the ignition circuits cutting off ignition earlier than the other.

This twin spark ignition distributor is equipped with two independently working ignition circuits, letting your engine run further on even when one ignition circuit quits working.

The 123 TUNE distributor for the Toyota 4A-GE engine will be built to order. To minimise the work involved (and with it the price) we need an original distributor sent to us, which we will take the mounting bracket and the gear at the bottom from.

This distributor is from the 123\TUNE (USB) series.

We offer our ignition distributors in three versions:

123\ignition – Our classic with 16 pre-set ignition curves, which can be selected via a switch. We recommend the 123\ignition for all vehicles operated under normal road use. Engines should not or only slightly be modified. Once set up correctly, you do not have to worry about anything anymore.

123\TUNE (USB) – You want to (fine-)tune your engine yourself? The 123\TUNE (USB) offers two advance curves, that can be activated even while driving. Settings can be made by means of a laptop, which you can easily connect via USB-cable.

123\TUNE+ (Bluetooth®) – Use the 123\TUNE+ (Bluetooth®) to control your new distributor with an app and Bluetooth® connection from you smartphone or tablet. This is highly comfortable. A special feature is the integrated immobilizer.

Please note:

Ignition cables with copper core are not suitable for use with this ignition distributor. Likewise older ignition cables should be replaced. For suitable ignition lead sets, see below.
Older ignition coils and ignition coils with a resistance below 1 ohm in the primary circuit (between terminals 1 and 15) lead to malfunction/total failure. The appropriate ignition coil with the parameters required for your vehicle, see below.
