ATTENTION! This ignition coil is neither suitable for our ignition amplifier 123\BIG-FAT-SPARK (item no. 8755) nor for use in conjunction with an HKZ. The ignition amplifier must be operated with the ignition coil 123\BIG-FAT-COIL (item no. 8757) and the HKZ with our high-performance ignition coil - HKZ (item no. 10225).
While it's the perfect coil to go with the 123\ignition and 123\TUNE(+), our 40,000 volt Flame-Thrower canister coil can benefit virtually any distributor type inductive system. Its higher voltage allows larger spark plug gaps for added power, smoother response and better fuel economy. These coils are internally resisted so they are compatible with many ignition systems.
Our oil filled coils offer great heat control for street driven vehicles, while our epoxy filled coils provide superior winding support for high vibration environments in offroad vehicles and boats.

- 3.0 Ohms for 4-cylinders up to 6,000 rpm
- 1.5 Ohms for 4-cylinders > 6,000 rpm and all 6-cylinders
- 1.5 Ohms for 8-cylinders up to 5,000 rpm
PerTronix ignitor and points:
- 3.0 Ohms for all 2 cylinder
- 3.0 Ohms for 4-cylinder revving up to 6,000 rpm
- 1.5 Ohms for 4-cylinder revving higher than 6,000 rpm and all 6-cylinder
- 1.5 Ohms for 8-cylinder
