Description
123ignition for Porsche 912 and 914/4, for carburetted engines as well as for injection engines. This distributor will be delivered with an aluminium ring, compensating for excessive length of the distributor. Early models had been equipped with shorter distributors than later models.
The ring is 7 mm high.
Ignition distributor with 16 pre-programmed ignition curves that can be selected using a rotary switch. The ignition curves can be viewed on the right under 'Technical Info'.
This distributor has only one vacuum connection. This means that it can only advance or retard the ignition timing by means of vacuum.
Our ignition distributors require ignition coils with at least 1 ohm resistance in the primary circuit.
We recommend not to use ignition cables with a copper core. The electronics in the ignition distributor may be interfered with the electromagnetic fields induced by these cables.
