We install the 123 electronics in the original housing of your distributor. The housing will be provided with an opening on the side through which the ignition curve can be set. Of course, the opening can be closed with a screw / rubber cap that we will provide. There is no new distributor cap and no new distributor rotor supplied, but we deliver the converted distributor with the cap and the rotor that we received from you, which will still fit your distributor after the conversion. You are welcome to purchase a new distributor cap and a new rotor in our shop.
The sales conditions and the price are predicated upon the fact that you send us a specifically correct, complete and clean distributor (including distributor cap and rotor) for the conversion. If any of the components of your distributor (except breaker contacts, contact plate and ignition adjustment mechanism, as these are replaced as such) show serious damage, we will invoice their repair or replacement separately, which we would notify you of before the repair.
123\TUNE USB and 123\TUNE+ Bluetooth ignition distributors are not delivered from the factory with vehicle-specific, but with general ignition curves. They are made to physically fit the engine.
You can ask us to research and program an ignition curve for the 123\TUNE USB and 123\TUNE+ Bluetooth for your vehicle. To do this, place product no. 9907 into the shopping basket. You can find this product ('Programming distributor') at the bottom of this page under 'Accessories and spare parts'.
This ignition distributor has a vacuum connection, which does not have to be used necessarily.
Our ignition distributors require ignition coils with at least 1 ohm resistance in the primary circuit.
We recommend not to use ignition cables with a copper core. The electronics in the ignition distributor may be interfered with the electromagnetic fields induced by these cables.
